Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
कैकेयीवचने युक्तं वन्यमूलफलाशिनम् ।
सांप्रतं सुसमृद्धार्थं समित्रगणबान्धवम् ॥६-१२७-८॥
kaikeyīvacane yuktaṃ vanyamūlaphalāśinam |
sāṃprataṃ susamṛddhārthaṃ samitraganabāndhavam ॥6-127-8॥
Translation
Due to Kaikeyi's words, You subsisted on wild roots and fruits. But now, I behold You victorious over enemies, highly successful, and accompanied by hosts of friends and kinsmen.
हिंदी अनुवाद
कैकेयी के वचनों के कारण तुम वन के कन्द-मूल और फलों पर जीवित रहे। किन्तु अब मैं तुम्हें शत्रुओं पर विजय पाकर मित्रों और बन्धुओं के साथ पूर्ण सफल और समृद्ध देख रहा हूँ।
English Commentary
The sage connects the two ends of Shri Rama's journey—the austerity of the forest and the glory of current victory. The term 'Susamriddhartham' refers not just to material wealth but to the total fulfillment of His mission. The presence of Vanara friends and Vibhishana signifies the vast new alliance He built.

मुनि यहाँ श्री राम की यात्रा के दो सिरों को जोड़ रहे हैं—वन का अभाव और आज की विजय का वैभव। 'ससमृद्धार्थम्' शब्द केवल भौतिक समृद्धि नहीं, बल्कि उनके संकल्प की सिद्धि का परिचायक है। वानर मित्रों और विभीषण जैसे बन्धुओं का साथ होना उनकी नई शक्ति का प्रतीक है।
