सिद्धार्थं शंस मां तस्मै सभार्यं सहलक्ष्मणम् ।
हरणं चापि वैदेह्या रावणेन बलीयसा ॥६-१२८-६॥
siddhārthaṃ śaṃsa māṃ tasmai sabhāryaṃ sahalakṣmaṇam |
haraṇaṃ cāpi vaidehyā rāvaṇena balīyasā ॥6-128-6॥
Translation
Tell him that I have achieved my purpose and am returning with my wife and Lakshmana. Also tell him about the abduction of Vaidehi (Sita) by the mighty Ravana.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन्हें (भरत को) बताना कि मैं पत्नी (सीता) और लक्ष्मण सहित सफल मनोरथ होकर लौटा हूँ। बलवान रावण द्वारा वैदेही (सीता) के हरण की बात भी बताना।
English Commentary
Shri Rama outlines the narrative Hanuman must present. 'Siddhartham' implies that the objectives of the exile—adherence to truth and destruction of evil—have been met. Mentioning the abduction by the 'mighty' Ravana provides context for the hardships endured. It is crucial that Bharata understands the gravity of the events that transpired.

हनुमान जी को क्या संदेश देना है, इसका विवरण यहाँ दिया गया है। 'सिद्धार्थम्' का अर्थ है जिसका प्रयोजन सिद्ध हो गया हो (वनवास पूरा हुआ और शत्रु का नाश हुआ)। श्री राम चाहते हैं कि भरत को पिछले 14 वर्षों की प्रमुख घटनाओं, विशेषकर सीता हरण और रावण के साथ संघर्ष का संक्षिप्त विवरण दिया जाए, ताकि वे श्री राम के विलंब और संघर्ष को समझ सकें।
