सुग्रीवेण च संसर्गं वालिनश्च वधं रणे ।
मैथिल्यन्वेषणं चैव यथा चाधिगता त्वया ॥६-१२८-७॥
sugrīveṇa ca saṃsargaṃ vālinaśca vadhaṃ raṇe |
maithilyanveṣaṇaṃ caiva yathā cādhigatā tvayā ॥6-128-7॥
Translation
Tell him about the alliance with Sugriva and the killing of Vali in combat. Also mention the search for Maithili and how she was discovered by you.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सुग्रीव के साथ मित्रता और युद्ध में वाली के वध के बारे में बताना। मैथिली (सीता) की खोज और तुम्हारे द्वारा उनका पता लगाने की बात भी कहना।
English Commentary
The instructions continue with a summary of the alliances formed. Shri Rama specifically mentions Sugriva and the role of Hanuman ('adhigata tvaya' - discovered by you) in finding Sita. This not only updates Bharata on the facts but also implicitly introduces Hanuman's credibility and high status as a messenger.

श्री राम कथा का क्रम समझा रहे हैं। किष्किंधा कांड (सुग्रीव मैत्री, वाली वध) और सुंदर कांड (सीता की खोज, हनुमान का लंका जाना) की घटनाओं का उल्लेख करना आवश्यक है। यह भरत को यह बताने के लिए है कि कैसे वनवासी मित्रों और विशेषकर हनुमान जी की सहायता से यह असंभव कार्य संभव हुआ।
