तत् कृत्वा दुष्करं कर्म भ्रातरौ रामलक्ष्मणौ ।
सायाह्ने शरभङ्गस्य रम्याश्रममीयतुः ॥६-१२९-१४॥
tat kṛtvā duṣkaraṃ karma bhrātarau rāmalakṣmaṇau |
sāyāhne śarabhaṅgasya ramyāśramamīyatuḥ ॥6-129-14॥
Translation
"Having performed that difficult deed, the brothers Shri Rama and Lakshmana went to the beautiful ashram of Sarabhanga in the evening."
हिंदी अनुवाद
'उस कठिन कर्म को करके, दोनों भाई श्री राम और लक्ष्मण शाम के समय शरभंग मुनि के रमणीय आश्रम में गए।'
English Commentary
After the violence, they seek the peace of a sage's ashram. Visiting Sarabhanga marks their interaction with the ascetic community they came to protect.

विराध वध के बाद ऋषियों से मिलन। शरभंग मुनि के आश्रम में जाना श्री राम की यात्रा का अगला पड़ाव था। 'दुष्करं कर्म' (कठिन कार्य) विराध वध के लिए प्रयुक्त है।
