सूताः स्तुतिपुराणज्ञाः सर्वे वैतालिकास्तथा ।
सर्वे वादित्रकुशला गणिकाश्चापि सङ्घशः ॥६-१३०-३॥
sūtāḥ stutipurāṇajñāḥ sarve vaitālikāstathā |
sarve vāditrakuśalā gaṇikāścāpi saṅghaśaḥ ॥6-130-3॥
Translation
Let the Sutas conversant with eulogies and Puranas, all the Vaitalikas (bards), all those skilled in musical instruments, and the courtesans in large groups (be ready).

स्तुति और पुराणों को जानने वाले सूत, सभी वैतालिक (भाट), सभी प्रकार के वाद्य बजाने में कुशल संगीतकार और गणिकाओं के समूह (तैयार हो जाएं)।
English Commentary
A royal welcome involves every stratum of society. The 'Sutas' and 'Vaitalikas' were traditional bards responsible for preserving genealogy and singing eulogies. The inclusion of courtesans (ganikas) was considered auspicious (mangala) in ancient Indian urban culture during royal processions. Bharata desires that Shri Rama's return be celebrated not just with silent devotion but with a grand display of music, art, and cultural vibrancy.

एक शाही स्वागत के लिए समाज के हर वर्ग को आमंत्रित किया गया है। 'सूत' और 'वैतालिक' राजाओं की वंशावली और कीर्ति का गान करने वाले पारंपरिक कलाकार थे। गणिकाओं की उपस्थिति प्राचीन भारतीय नगर-संस्कृति में 'मंगल' (शुभता) का प्रतीक मानी जाती थी। भरत चाहते हैं कि श्री राम का स्वागत केवल मौन भक्ति से नहीं, बल्कि संगीत, कला और संस्कृति के भव्य प्रदर्शन के साथ हो।
