विष्टीरनेकसाहस्राश्चोदयामास वीर्यवान् ।
समीकुरुत निम्नानि विषमाणि समानि च ॥६-१३०-५॥
viṣṭīranekasāhasrāścodayāmāsa vīryavān |
samīkuruta nimnāni viṣamāṇi samāni ca ॥6-130-5॥
Translation
...(Shatrughna) mobilized many thousands of laborers (and ordered): 'Level the low and uneven places.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
...ने (शत्रुघ्न ने) कई हजार विष्टियों (वेतनभोगी मजदूरों) को काम पर लगाया (और आदेश दिया): 'ऊंचे-नीचे और विषम स्थानों को समतल कर दो।'
English Commentary
This verse reflects the urban planning and mobilization capabilities of ancient India. 'Vishti' refers to laborers. Thousands were deployed to level the roads, ensuring Shri Rama's path was smooth. This represents the practical aspect of Bhakti (devotion)—removing every obstacle and pothole from the path of the Beloved to ensure their comfort.

यह श्लोक प्राचीन भारत की नगर-व्यवस्था और आपदा प्रबंधन जैसी तत्परता को दर्शाता है। 'विष्टि' का अर्थ है वेतन भोगी मजदूर। हजारों मजदूरों को रास्तों को समतल करने के लिए लगाया गया ताकि श्री राम के रथ या पैदल चलने में कोई कष्ट न हो। यह भक्ति का व्यावहारिक रूप है—अपने आराध्य के मार्ग के हर कांटे और गड्ढे को हटा देना।
