Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
राघवेण यथा माता सुमित्रा लक्ष्मणेन च ।
भरतेन च कैकेयी जीवपुत्रास्तथा स्त्रियः ॥६-१३१-११०॥
rāghaveṇa yathā mātā sumitrā lakṣmaṇena ca |
bharatena ca kaikeyī jīvaputrāstathā striyaḥ ॥6-131-110॥
Translation
Just as Kausalya was blessed with Shri Rama, Sumitra with Lakshmana, and Kaikeyi with Bharata, so shall women be blessed with sons who live long.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जैसे कौसल्या श्री राम को पाकर, सुमित्रा लक्ष्मण को पाकर और कैकेयी भरत को पाकर धन्य हुईं, वैसे ही स्त्रियाँ पुत्रवती होंगी।
English Commentary
This refers to familial fulfillment through the examples of the Queen mothers. For a mother, her son's glory and virtue are her greatest ornaments. Listening to the Ramayana fosters an environment of love and creates obedient progeny within families. It honors the power of womanhood and motherhood.

यहाँ माताओं के उदाहरण के माध्यम से पारिवारिक पूर्णता की बात की गई है। एक माँ के लिए उसके पुत्र की कीर्ति और उसका सदाचार ही उसका सबसे बड़ा भूषण है। श्री रामायण का श्रवण परिवारों में प्रेम और आज्ञाकारी संतान का वातावरण निर्मित करता है। यह श्लोक स्त्री शक्ति और उनके मातृत्व का सम्मान करता है।
