Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
प्रार्थितांश्च वरान् सर्वान् प्राप्नुयादिह राघवात् ।
श्रवणेन सुराः सर्वे प्रीयन्ते संप्रशृण्वताम् ॥६-१३१-११४॥
prārthitāṃśca varān sarvān prāpnuyādiha rāghavāt |
śravaṇena surāḥ sarve prīyante saṃpraśṛṇvatām ॥6-131-114॥
Translation
He obtains all desired boons from Shri Rama in this world. All the Gods are pleased with those who listen to it attentively.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वह श्री रघुनाथ जी से सभी प्रार्थना किए गए वरदान प्राप्त कर लेता है। इसे सुनने वालों पर सभी देवता प्रसन्न होते हैं।
English Commentary
The pleasure of the Gods implies that the listener of the Ramayana aligns himself with cosmic forces. Presenting Shri Rama as the granter of boons reaffirms His compassionate nature toward His devotees. This scripture makes an individual a direct recipient of divine grace.

देवताओं की प्रसन्नता का अर्थ है कि श्री रामायण का पाठ करने वाला व्यक्ति ब्रह्मांडीय शक्तियों के अनुकूल हो जाता है। श्री राम (राघव) को वरदाता के रूप में प्रस्तुत करना उनके भक्त-वत्सल स्वरूप को पुष्ट करता है। यह ग्रंथ मनुष्य को ईश्वरीय कृपा का सीधा पात्र बना देता है।
