सुग्रीवो हनुमान्श्चैव महेन्द्रसदृशद्युती ।
स्नातौ दिव्यनिभैर्वस्त्रैर्जग्मतुः शुभकुण्डलौ ॥६-१३१-२१॥
sugrīvo hanumānścaiva mahendrasadṛśadyutī |
snātau divyanibhairvastrairjagmatuḥ śubhakuṇḍalau ॥6-131-21॥
Translation
Sugriva and Hanuman, possessing splendor like Mahendra, having bathed and wearing divine-like garments and beautiful earrings, went along.
हिंदी अनुवाद
महेन्द्र के समान कांति वाले सुग्रीव और हनुमान भी स्नान करके, दिव्य वस्त्र और सुंदर कुण्डल धारण करके चले।
English Commentary
Sugriva and Hanuman are transformed. Dressed in 'divya' (divine) garments and earrings, they shine like Indra. This visual transformation underscores the elevation of Shri Rama's devotees. They are not treated as mere animals or servants, but as celestial warriors accompanying a god-king.

वानर वीर भी अब राजसी वेश में हैं। सुग्रीव और हनुमान को 'महेन्द्रसदृशद्युती' (इन्द्र के समान तेजस्वी) कहा गया है। वन में रहने वाले वानर अब 'शुभकुण्डलौ' (सुंदर कुंडल पहने हुए) हैं। श्री राम ने अपने मित्रों को भी अपने समान ही वैभव प्रदान किया है।
