सख्यं च रामः सुग्रीवे प्रभावं चानिलात्मजे ।
वानराणां च तत् कर्म राक्षसानां च तद्बलम् ॥६-१३१-३९॥
sakhyaṃ ca rāmaḥ sugrīve prabhāvaṃ cānilātmaje |
vānarāṇāṃ ca tat karma rākṣasānāṃ ca tadbalam ॥6-131-39॥
Translation
Shri Rama spoke (to his ministers) about his friendship with Sugriva, the power of the son of Wind (Hanuman), the deeds of the monkeys, and the strength of the Rakshasas.
हिंदी अनुवाद
श्री राम अपने मंत्रियों से सुग्रीव के साथ अपनी मित्रता, हनुमान (वायुपुत्र) के प्रभाव (शक्ति), वानरों के कर्म और राक्षसों के बल के बारे में बताने लगे।
English Commentary
Shri Rama recounts the war stories to his ministers, but the focus is on his allies. He highlights Sugriva's friendship and Hanuman's power. By praising them publicly, Shri Rama ensures they are respected by the Ayodhya elite. It shows his humility and leadership—sharing the spotlight with those who helped him.

श्री राम अपनी विजय का श्रेय स्वयं नहीं लेते। वे मंत्रियों को अपनी यात्रा की कहानियां सुनाते हैं, जिसमें वे सुग्रीव की दोस्ती और हनुमान के पराक्रम का बखान करते हैं। यह 'कृतज्ञता' है। वे अपने अतिथियों (वानरों/विभीषण) की महिमा अपने लोगों के सामने गा रहे हैं ताकि उन्हें सम्मान मिले।
