राज्यं दश सहस्राणि प्राप्य वर्षाणि राघवः ।
शताश्वमेधानाजह्रे सदश्वान् भूरिदक्षिणान् ॥६-१३१-९५॥
rājyaṃ daśa sahasrāṇi prāpya varṣāṇi rāghavaḥ |
śatāśvamedhānājahre sadaśvān bhūridakṣiṇān ॥6-131-95॥
Translation
Having ruled the kingdom for eleven thousand years, the scion of Raghu performed a hundred Ashvamedha sacrifices with excellent horses and abundant gifts.
हिंदी अनुवाद
श्री रघुनाथ जी ने ग्यारह हजार वर्षों (दस हजार और एक हजार) तक राज्य किया और उत्तम घोड़ों तथा प्रचुर दक्षिणा वाले सौ अश्वमेध यज्ञ संपन्न किए।
English Commentary
The span of eleven thousand years represents the eternal truth that the reign of Dharma is enduring. 'Bhuri-Dakshina' (abundant charity) is proof of the King's magnanimity and the state's economic prosperity. Shri Rama turned His entire reign into a continuous sacrifice, where every action was an offering for public welfare.

ग्यारह हजार वर्षों का कालखंड एक शाश्वत सत्य को दर्शाता है कि धर्म का शासन चिरस्थायी होता है। 'भूरि-दक्षिणा' राजा की उदारता और राज्य की आर्थिक संपन्नता का प्रमाण है। श्री राम ने अपने शासन काल को यज्ञमय बना दिया, जहाँ हर कृत्य लोक-कल्याण की आहुति थी।
