English Commentary
Shri Rama lists the specific indicators Hanuman must watch: 'mukha-varnena' (complexion/color of the face), 'drishtya' (glance), and 'vyabhashanena' (speech). He reasons that the kingdom is wealthy and powerful ('hasty-ashva-ratha-sankulam' - full of elephants, horses, chariots). Continued possession of such absolute power can change anyone.

चेहरे का रंग (मुखवर्ण) और दृष्टि (दृष्टि) मन का दर्पण होते हैं। श्री राम का तर्क है कि अयोध्या का राज्य समृद्ध है, सेना विशाल है, और सत्ता का सुख 'सर्वकामसमृद्धं' (सभी इच्छाओं को पूरा करने वाला) है। ऐसे ऐश्वर्य को भोगने के बाद उसे त्यागना कठिन होता है। इसलिए वे हनुमान जी को मनोवैज्ञानिक विश्लेषण करने का दायित्व सौंपते हैं।
