Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
उपस्थितममात्यैश्च शुचिभिश्च पुरोहितैः ।
बलमुख्यैश्च युक्तैश्च काषायाम्बरधारिभिः ॥६-१२८-३२॥
upasthitamamātyaiśca śucibhiśca purohitaiḥ |
balamukhyaiśca yuktaiśca kāṣāyāmbaradhāribhiḥ ॥6-128-32॥
Translation
He was attended by upright ministers, priests, and army chiefs who were engaged in duty and were (also) wearing saffron/ochre robes.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे पवित्र मंत्रियों, पुरोहितों और सेनापतियों से घिरे हुए थे, जो (भरत के समान ही) गेरुआ वस्त्र धारण किए हुए थे।
English Commentary
The influence of Bharata's sacrifice is total. Even his ministers, priests, and generals wear 'kashaya' (saffron/monastic) robes. It is a government of ascetics. This solidarity shows their loyalty not just to the state, but to the values Bharata represents. Corruption cannot exist where the leaders live like hermits.

एक अद्भुत दृश्य: केवल राजा ही नहीं, बल्कि मंत्री और सेनापति भी 'काषायम्बरधारिभिः' (गेरुआ वस्त्र पहनने वाले) हैं। यथा राजा तथा प्रजा। भरत के त्याग का प्रभाव उनके पूरे मंत्रिमंडल पर है। वे भोगी नहीं, बल्कि योगी की भांति राज्य सेवा में लगे हैं। 'शुचिभिः' (पवित्र) विशेषण मंत्रियों की ईमानदारी को दर्शाता है।
