यथा प्रव्राजितो रामो मातुर्दत्तो वरस्तव ।
यथा च पुत्रशोकेन राजा दशरथो मृतः ॥६-१२९-५॥
yathā pravrājito rāmo māturdatto varastava |
yathā ca putraśokena rājā daśaratho mṛtaḥ ॥6-129-5॥
Translation
He narrated how Shri Rama was exiled, how the boons were given to your mother, and how King Dasharatha died of grief for his son.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन्होंने बताया कि कैसे श्री राम को वनवास दिया गया, तुम्हारी माता (कैकेयी) को वरदान दिए गए, और कैसे पुत्र-शोक में राजा दशरथ की मृत्यु हुई।
English Commentary
Hanuman starts chronologically with the exile and Dasharatha's death. Although Bharata knows this, recounting it establishes the context and continuity of Shri Rama's journey for the complete narrative.
