तूर्यसङ्घातनिर्घोषैः काञ्चीनूपुरनिःस्वनैः ।
मधुरैर्गीतशब्धैश्च प्रतिबुध्यस्व राघव ॥६-१३१-१०॥
tūryasaṅghātanirghoṣaiḥ kāñcīnūpuraniḥsvanaiḥ |
madhurairgītaśabdhaiśca pratibudhyasva rāghava ॥6-131-10॥
Translation
O Raghava! May you wake up to the sounds of musical instruments, the tinkling of girdles and anklets, and the sweet sounds of songs.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे राघव! (अब से) आप तूर्य (वाद्यों) के समूह की ध्वनि, करधनी और नूपुरों (घुंघरुओं) की झनकार तथा मधुर गीतों के शब्दों से जगाये जाएँ।
English Commentary
Bharata paints a picture of royal life to entice Shri Rama away from ascetic habits. Instead of forest sounds, Shri Rama should now be awakened by 'turya' (musical instruments) and the sounds of palace life ('nupura' - anklets of dancers/attendants). This signifies the restoration of royal protocol and the end of austerity. Bharata insists that Shri Rama accept the luxuries rightfully his.

भरत श्री राम को वनवासी जीवन से पूरी तरह राजसी जीवन में ले जाना चाहते हैं। वन में पक्षियों की आवाज से जागने वाले श्री राम अब राजमहल के वैभव में 'तूर्य' (शहनाई/नगाड़े) और नूपुरों की ध्वनि से जागें। यह श्लोक जीवन शैली में परिवर्तन को दर्शाता है। श्री राम का राजा के रूप में दैनिक जीवन अब आरम्भ होना चाहिए।
