Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
आसन् वर्षसहस्राणि तथा पुत्रसहस्रिणः ।
निरामया विशोकाश्च रामे राज्यं प्रशासति ॥६-१३१-१०१॥
āsan varṣasahasrāṇi tathā putrasahasriṇaḥ |
nirāmayā viśokāśca rāme rājyaṃ praśāsati ॥6-131-101॥
Translation
During Shri Rama's reign, people lived for thousands of years, had thousands of offspring, and remained free from disease and sorrow.
हिंदी अनुवाद
श्री राम के शासन काल में लोग हजारों वर्षों तक जीवित रहते थे, उनके हजारों पुत्र होते थे और वे रोगों तथा शोकों से रहित थे।
English Commentary
Longevity and the joy of progeny are the results of a sattvic lifestyle. Being 'Niramayah' (disease-free) and 'Vishokah' (grief-free) proves that the society enjoyed a balance of physical health and mental peace. This verse describes a 'Utopia' firmly established on the foundation of Dharma.

दीर्घायु और संतान-सुख सात्विक जीवन शैली के परिणाम हैं। 'निरामयाः' (रोग-रहित) और 'विशोकाः' (शोक-रहित) होना यह सिद्ध करता है कि समाज में शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य और मानसिक शांति दोनों का संतुलन था। यह श्लोक एक ऐसे 'यूटोपिया' (आदर्श लोक) का वर्णन करता है जो धर्म की नींव पर टिका था।
