श्वेतं च वालव्यजनं जग्राह पुरतः स्थितः ।
अपरं चन्द्रसंकाशं राक्षसेन्द्रो विभीषणः ॥६-१३१-२९॥
śvetaṃ ca vālavyajanaṃ jagrāha purataḥ sthitaḥ |
aparaṃ candrasaṅkāśaṃ rākṣasendro vibhīṣaṇaḥ ॥6-131-29॥
Translation
Standing in front, Vibhishana, the King of Rakshasas, held another white chowrie (fan) shining like the moon.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सामने खड़े होकर राक्षसराज विभीषण ने चंद्रमा के समान सफेद दूसरा चंवर (वालव्यजन) धारण किया।
English Commentary
Vibhishana joins the brothers in serving Shri Rama, holding the second fan ('aparam valavyajanam'). This signifies his total submission and devotion. It is a powerful image: the King of Lanka serving the King of Ayodhya as a personal attendant.

विभीषण भी श्री राम की सेवा में भाइयों के समान सम्मिलित हैं। वे दूसरा चंवर डुला रहे हैं। एक राक्षस राजा का अयोध्या के राजा की सेवा करना श्री राम के प्रभाव और विभीषण की कृतज्ञता को सिद्ध करता है।
