छत्रं तु तस्य जग्राह शत्रुघ्नः पाण्डरं शुभम् ।
श्वेतं च वालव्यजनं सुग्रीवो वानरेश्वरः ॥६-१३१-६८॥
chatraṃ tu tasya jagrāha śatrughnaḥ pāṇḍaraṃ śubham |
śvetaṃ ca vālavyajanaṃ sugrīvo vānareśvaraḥ ॥6-131-68॥
Translation
Shatrughna held the auspicious white parasol over Him, while Sugriva, the lord of monkeys, took up the task of waving the white whisk.
हिंदी अनुवाद
शत्रुघ्न ने उनका श्वेत और मंगलकारी छत्र थामा, और वानरराज सुग्रीव ने श्वेत चँवर (व्यजन) डुलाने का कार्य संभाला।
English Commentary
Different forms of service are showcased here. Shatrughna, who guarded the home front with Bharata, now serves Shri Rama like a protective shadow. Sugriva, once an exiled monkey, now waves the whisk in the royal court of Ayodhya. This symbolizes the victory of 'friendship,' as Shri Rama granted even the non-human races god-like respect and the privilege of divine service.

यहाँ सेवा के विभिन्न रूपों का दर्शन होता है। शत्रुघ्न, जिन्होंने भरत के साथ रहकर राज्य की रक्षा की थी, अब साये की तरह श्री राम की सेवा में हैं। सुग्रीव, जो कभी एक निर्वासित वानर थे, आज अयोध्या के राजदरबार में चँवर डुला रहे हैं। यह 'मैत्री' की विजय का प्रतीक है, जहाँ श्री राम ने पशु-जाति को भी देव-तुल्य सम्मान और सेवा का अवसर प्रदान किया।
