Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
पौरुषं विक्रमो बुद्धिर्यस्मिन्नेतानि नित्यदा ।
ददौ सा वायुपुत्राय तं हारमसितेक्षणा ॥६-१३१-८२॥
pauruṣaṃ vikramō buddhir yasmin nētāni nityadā |
dadau sā vāyūputrāya taṃ hāramāsitēkṣaṇā ॥6-131-82॥
Translation
Manliness, prowess, and intellect—in whom these reside perpetually, to him give it. Then that dark-eyed Sita gave the necklace to the son of the Wind.
हिंदी अनुवाद
पौरुष, पराक्रम और बुद्धि— ये सभी गुण जिसमें सदा विद्यमान हैं, उसे यह हार दो। तब उन कमल नयनी सीता ने वह हार पवनपुत्र को दे दिया।
English Commentary
Hanuman is the perfect synthesis of manliness and intellect. Sita presenting Him the necklace proves she was 'supremely satisfied' with His service. This gift was not a material object but the embodied form of Sita's maternal love. For Hanuman, this was the greatest achievement of His life.
हिंदी टीका
हनुमान जी को पौरुष और बुद्धि का समन्वय (बुद्धिमतां वरिष्ठम्) कहा गया है। सीता जी का उन्हें हार देना यह सिद्ध करता है कि वे हनुमान जी की सेवा से 'परम संतुष्ट' थीं। यह उपहार सांसारिक वस्तु नहीं, बल्कि सीता जी के वात्सल्य का मूर्त रूप था। हनुमान जी के लिए यह उनके जीवन की सबसे बड़ी उपलब्धि थी।
