आजानुलम्बबाहुः स महास्कन्धः प्रतापवान् ।
लक्ष्मणानुचरो रामः पृथिवीमन्वपालयत् ॥६-१३१-९६॥
ājānulambabāhuḥ sa mahāskandhaḥ pratāpavān |
lakṣmaṇānucaro rāmaḥ pṛthivīmanvapālayat ॥6-131-96॥
Translation
With arms reaching down to His knees, broad shoulders, and great majesty, Shri Rama—accompanied by Lakshmana—governed the earth.

घुटनों तक लंबी भुजाओं वाले, विशाल कंधों वाले और प्रतापी श्री राम ने लक्ष्मण के साथ मिलकर इस पृथ्वी का पालन किया।
English Commentary
'Ajanulambabahu' (long arms) is an attribute of great beings, signifying boundless capability and compassion. Lakshmana's presence as an 'Anuchara' (follower) proves that effective governance requires a strong and dedicated supportive force. This duo was the living embodiment of the protection of Dharma.

'आजानुलम्बबाहु' महापुरुषों का लक्षण है, जो उनके असीम सामर्थ्य और करुणा को दर्शाता है। श्री राम के साथ लक्ष्मण जी का 'अनुचर' (पीछे चलने वाला) के रूप में होना यह सिद्ध करता है कि आदर्श शासन के पीछे एक सुदृढ़ और समर्पित सहयोगी शक्ति का होना अनिवार्य है। यह जोड़ी धर्म के रक्षण का साक्षात् प्रतीक थी।
