एवं राजर्षय: सर्वे प्रतीता राजनन्दन ।
तस्मात् त्राहि नरश्रेष्ठ पितरं नरकात् प्रभो ॥२-१०७-१४॥
Evaṃ rājarṣayaḥ sarve pratītā rājanandana |
Tasmāt trāhi naraśreṣṭha pitaraṃ narakāt prabho ॥2-107-14॥
Translation
O Delight of the Kings (Bharata), all the royal sages have held this conviction. Therefore, O best of men, O capable one, save our father from hell.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे राजनन्दन! सभी राजर्षि इस बात को (पुत्र के कर्तव्य को) मानते आए हैं। अत: हे नरश्रेष्ठ! हे प्रभो! तुम पिता को नरक (असत्य रूपी दोष) से बचाओ।
English Commentary
Rama concludes his theological argument by citing precedent ("all royal sages believe this"). He directly commands Bharata to "save" the father. The "hell" mentioned here is the spiritual consequence of a broken vow (Satya-bhanga). By calling Bharata 'Prabho' (Lord/Capable One), Rama empowers him, asserting that Bharata has the strength and authority to prevent this spiritual catastrophe. The burden of Dasharatha's afterlife now squarely rests on Bharata's decision regarding the throne. It is a powerful emotional and religious leverage to compel Bharata to return.

श्रीराम अब अपने तर्कों का उपसंहार (Conclusion) कर रहे हैं। वे कहते हैं कि यह केवल मेरा विचार नहीं है, बल्कि प्राचीन राजर्षियों का भी यही मत है। यहाँ 'नरकात्' (नरक से) का अर्थ केवल मृत्यु के बाद का स्थान नहीं, बल्कि 'असत्य' का कलंक है। यदि राजा का वचन पूरा नहीं हुआ, तो यह इक्ष्वाकु वंश के लिए नरक समान होगा। राम भरत को 'प्रभो' (समर्थ) कहकर संबोधित करते हैं, जिसका अर्थ है कि भरत इस संकट को टालने में पूर्णतः सक्षम हैं। यह भरत की क्षमता पर विश्वास और आदेश दोनों है कि वे भावुकता छोड़कर कुल के रक्षक बनें।
