गुहस्य तत्तु वचनं श्रुत्वा स्नेहादुदीरितम् ।
रामस्यानुवशो वाक्यं भरतो ऽपीदमब्रवीत् ।

guhasya tattu vacanaṃ śrutvā snehādudīritam |
rāmasyānuvaśo vākyaṃ bharato 'pīdamabravīt ॥2-89-6॥
Translation
Hearing those words of Guha spoken out of affection, Bharata, who was ever subservient to Rama, replied thus.

गुह के स्नेहपूर्वक कहे गए उन वचनों को सुनकर, राम के अधीन रहने वाले भरत ने भी यह बात कही।
English Commentary
The text notes that Guha’s words were snehat udiritam (uttered from affection), emphasizing that his hospitality stems from genuine love for Rama's kin, not just diplomatic protocol.
