निविष्ठमात्रे सैन्ये तु यथोद्देशं विनीतवत्।
भरतो भ्रातरं वाक्यं शत्रुघ्नमिदमब्रवीत् ॥२-९८-२॥
niviṣṭamātre sainye tu yathoddeśaṃ vinītavat |
bharato bhrātaraṃ vākyaṃ śatrughnamidamabravīt ॥2-98-2॥
Translation
Once the army was settled in the designated places in a disciplined manner, Bharata spoke these words to his brother Shatrughna.

सेना के यथास्थान विनीत भाव से टिक जाने पर, भरत ने अपने भाई शत्रुघ्न से यह वचन कहा।
English Commentary
Bharata displays his administrative acumen alongside his devotion. Before rushing to find Rama, he ensures the army is camped "yathoddesham" (as directed) and "vinitavat" (behaved humble/disciplined). This prevents chaos and protects the hermitage environment. Addressing Shatrughna immediately after settling the camp indicates a delegation of duties. It shows that Bharata is focused and methodical in his search operation, balancing his overwhelming emotional urge to see Rama with the practical responsibilities of leadership.

भरत केवल भावुक भक्त नहीं, अपितु एक कुशल प्रशासक भी हैं। श्रीराम की खोज प्रारंभ करने से पूर्व वे सुनिश्चित करते हैं कि सेना 'यथोद्धेशं' (निर्देशानुसार) और 'विनीतवत्' (अनुशासन/विनम्रता के साथ) बस गई है। सेना के व्यवस्थित होने के बाद ही वे शत्रुघ्न को आगे की कार्यवाही के लिए निर्देश देते हैं। यह श्लोक संकट काल में भी भरत के मानसिक संतुलन और संगठनात्मक क्षमता को दर्शाता है। वे जानते हैं कि एक अनियंत्रित सेना वन में अराजकता फैला सकती है, इसलिए वे पहले व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करते हैं।
