तस्य अभ्याशे तु मिथुनम् चरन्तम् अनपायिनम् ।
ददर्श भगवान् तत्र क्रौञ्चयोः चारु निस्वनम् ॥१-२-९॥
tasya abhyāśe tu mithunam carantam anapāyinam |
dadarśa bhagavān tatra krauñcayoḥ cāru nisvanam ॥1-2-9॥
Translation
And in that vicinity, the illustrious sage (Vālmīki) saw there a couple of Krauncha birds, inseparable, moving about together and making a beautiful, sweet sound.

और वहाँ, उस स्थान पर भगवान् ने एक युग्म को देखा, जो एक साथ घूमते हुए, कभी न छूटने वाले, सुंदर, मधुर शब्द निकालते हुए।
English Commentary
