दर्शनम् रावणस्य अपि पुष्पकस्य च दर्शनम् ।
अशोक वनिकायानम् सीतायाः च अपि दर्शनम् ॥१-३-३०॥
Darśanaṃ Rāvaṇasya api Puṣpakasya ca darśanam |
Aśoka vanikāyānam Sītāyāḥ ca api darśanam ॥1-3-30॥
Translation
(Valmiki visualized) The sighting of Ravana (while he was asleep), the sighting of the (magnificent) Pushpaka Vimana, the entry into the Ashoka Grove, and the discovery (seeing) of Mother Sita.

English Commentary
This verse continues the summary of the Sundara Kanda events that Sage Valmiki visualized through his divine sight (dharma-chakshu) before writing the epic. It lists four distinct, pivotal moments in Hanuman’s reconnaissance mission: 1. The Sighting of Ravana (Rāvaṇasya Darśanam) - Hanuman sees Ravana sleeping in his palace. 2. The Pushpaka Vimana (Puṣpakasya Darśanam) - The Pushpaka Vimana is described as a marvel of aerial engineering. 3. The Ashoka Grove (Aśoka Vanikā) - After searching the palaces and not finding Sita, Hanuman moves to the Ashoka Vatika. 4. The Sighting of Sita (Sītāyāḥ Darśanam) - This is the climax of the Sundara Kanda.
