राघवैः सह संबंधात् वीर्य श्रेष्ठैः महात्मभिः ।
श्वः प्रभाते नरेन्द्र त्वम् सम्वर्तयितुम् अर्हसि ॥ ॥१-६९-१२॥
Rāghavaiḥ saha saṃbandhāt vīrya śreṣṭhaiḥ mahātmabhiḥ । Śvaḥ prabhāte narendra tvam samvartayitum arhasi ॥ ॥1-69-12॥
Translation
"Due to the connection with the Raghavas, who are great souls and superior in valor, (my family is blessed). O King, you are requested to perform the rituals tomorrow morning."

"महात्मा और पराक्रम में श्रेष्ठ रघुकुल के वीरों के साथ संबंध होने के कारण (मेरा कुल धन्य है)। हे नरेन्द्र! कल प्रातःकाल आप (यज्ञ/विवाह कार्य) संपन्न करने की कृपा करें।"
English Commentary
Janaka reiterates his pride in the alliance with the powerful and noble (mahātmabhiḥ) Raghu clan. He then shifts to business, politely requesting King Dasharatha to initiate the rituals śvaḥ prabhāte (tomorrow morning). In Vedic weddings, the timing is crucial. Janaka is essentially handing over the reins of the ceremony to the groom's father, asking him to preside over or authorize the commencement of the final rites, showing deference to Dasharatha's status.

जनक अपनी बात को आगे बढ़ाते हुए रघुकुल के वीरों (राघवैः) की प्रशंसा करते हैं, उन्हें 'महात्मा' और 'वीर्य श्रेष्ठ' कहते हैं। इसके बाद वे दशरथ से अनुरोध करते हैं कि 'श्वः प्रभाते' (कल सुबह) वे विवाह संबंधी अनुष्ठान शुरू करें। यहाँ जनक दशरथ को मुख्य यजमान या अभिभावक के रूप में कार्य आरम्भ करने का आग्रह कर रहे हैं। यह श्लोक विवाह की तिथि और समय (मुहूर्त) के निर्धारण का संकेत देता है, जो कि अगले दिन सुबह के लिए तय हुआ है।
