सह सर्वैः द्विज श्रेष्ठैः देवैः इव शतक्रतुः ।
दिष्ट्या मे निर्जिता विघ्ना दिष्ट्या मे पूजितम् कुलम् ॥ ॥१-६९-११॥
Saha sarvaiḥ dvija śreṣṭhaiḥ devaiḥ iva Śatakratuḥ । Diṣṭyā me nirjitā vighnā diṣṭyā me pūjitam kulam ॥ ॥1-69-11॥
Translation
"(He comes) with all the best of Brahmins, like Shatakratu (Indra) with the gods. By good fortune, my obstacles are conquered; by good fortune, my lineage is honored."

"(वसिष्ठ जी) अन्य सभी श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मणों के साथ वैसे ही सुशोभित हो रहे हैं जैसे देवताओं के साथ इंद्र (शतक्रतु)। सौभाग्य से मेरे सभी विघ्न दूर हो गए हैं और सौभाग्य से मेरा कुल सम्मानित (पूजित) हो गया है।"
English Commentary
Utilizing a simile, Janaka compares Sage Vasistha surrounded by other Brahmins to Lord Indra (Śatakratu) surrounded by gods, emphasizing the sage's spiritual radiance. Janaka then declares that his obstacles (vighnā) are conquered. This refers to the anxiety a father feels regarding the successful marriage of his daughter. He feels his lineage (kulam) is now honored/sanctified by its association with the Raghu dynasty. It is a profound statement of relief and validation for the King of Mithila.

राजा जनक वसिष्ठ जी की तुलना 'शतक्रतु' (सौ यज्ञ करने वाले इंद्र) से करते हैं, जो ऋषियों के समूह के बीच इंद्र समान शोभा पा रहे हैं। जनक अत्यंत भावुक होकर कहते हैं कि दशरथ और वसिष्ठ के आगमन से उनके 'विघ्न' जीत लिए गए हैं। विवाह कार्यों में निर्विघ्नता एक बड़ी चिंता होती है। रघुकुल के साथ संबंध जुड़ने से जनक अपने कुल को 'पूजित' (सम्मानित) महसूस कर रहे हैं। यह जनक की विनम्रता है कि वे स्वयं को छोटा और दशरथ के कुल को महान बता रहे हैं।
