तया स राज ऋषि सुतो अभिकामया समेयिवान् उत्तम राज कन्यया ।
अतीव रामः शुशुभे मुदा अन्वितो विभुः श्रिया विष्णुः इव अमर ईश्वरः ॥ ॥१-७७-२९॥
Tayā sa rāja ṛṣi suto abhikāmayā Sameyivān uttama rāja kanyayā |
Atīva rāmaḥ śuśubhe mudā anvito Vibhuḥ śriyā viṣṇuḥ iva amara īśvaraḥ ॥1-77-29॥
Translation
Reunited with that best of princesses whom he desired, the son of the Royal Sage (Dasharatha) shone exceedingly. Filled with joy, the omnipresent Lord Rama appeared as resplendent as Lord Vishnu, the Lord of Immortals, does with Lakshmi.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस उत्तम राजकन्या (सीता) से मिलकर, जिसे वे (राम) अत्यंत चाहते थे, राजर्षि दशरथ के पुत्र राम अत्यंत शोभायमान हुए। वे आनंद से भरकर ऐसे सुशोभित हो रहे थे जैसे अमर ईश्वर, व्यापक प्रभु विष्णु अपनी पत्नी 'श्री' (लक्ष्मी) के साथ शोभित होते हैं।
English Commentary
This verse serves as a majestic conclusion to the description of their domestic life. It explicitly bridges the human and the divine. Rama, the son of the Rajarishi (Dasharatha), united with the Uttama-raja-kanya (Sita), is compared directly to Amara-Ishvara (Lord of Immortals) Vishnu with his consort Shri (Lakshmi). The word Vibhu (all-pervading/powerful) is used for Rama, hinting at his divinity. The joy (muda) mentioned here is not just worldly pleasure but the cosmic harmony restored when the divine couple is together. The imagery confirms that the earthly glory of Rama and Sita in Ayodhya is a reflection of the celestial glory of Vaikuntha.

बालकाण्ड का समापन (कुछ संस्करणों में इसके बाद सर्ग समाप्ति है) इस अद्भुत उपमा के साथ होता है। यहाँ कवि ने स्पष्ट रूप से राम की तुलना विष्णु से और सीता की तुलना लक्ष्मी (श्री) से की है। राम को 'विभुः' (व्यापक/समर्थ) कहा गया है, जो ईश्वर का वाचक है। 'अभिकामया' शब्द बताता है कि राम सीता को पूर्ण हृदय से चाहते थे। यह मिलन केवल एक राजनीतिक संधि या विवाह नहीं, बल्कि दो दिव्य शक्तियों का मिलन था। जैसे स्वर्ग में विष्णु और लक्ष्मी की जोड़ी शोभा पाती है, वैसे ही अयोध्या में राम और सीता की जोड़ी अपनी कांति से सबको प्रकाशित कर रही थी।
