भुजश्च चार्वञ्चितपीनवृत्तः परार्ध्यकालागरुचन्दनार्हः ।
अनुत्तमेनाध्युषितः प्रियेण चिरेण वामः समवेपताशु ।

Bhujaśca cārvañcitapīnavṛttaḥ parārdhyakālāgaru-candanārhaḥ । Anuttamēnādhyuṣitaḥ priyeṇa cireṇa vāmaḥ samavepatāśu । । ॥5-29-2॥
Translation
Her left arm—beautiful, gracefully curved, rounded, and worthy of the finest black aloe and sandalwood paste—also began to tremble quickly. This was the very arm that had long been used as a pillow by her peerless beloved, Rama.

उनका सुंदर, गोल और मांसल बायां हाथ, जो श्रेष्ठ कालागरु और चंदन के लेप के योग्य है और जिस पर परम प्रियतम श्रीराम बहुत समय तक सिर रखकर सोया करते थे, वह भी शीघ्रता से फड़कने लगा।
English Commentary
The poet continues to list the physical omens. The description of her arm serves a dual purpose: it emphasizes her royal status (being worthy of sandalwood) despite her current wretched state, and it evokes a deep sense of intimacy. By mentioning that this arm was once Rama's resting place, the verse connects the physical sensation of twitching to the memory of her husband's touch. It suggests that her body remembers Rama and is physically reacting to his approaching messenger, bridging the gap between separation (viraha) and reunion (milana).

नेत्र के बाद अब बाएं हाथ का फड़कना शुभ संकेतों की पुष्टि करता है। यहाँ तुलसीदास जी की तरह केवल संकेत नहीं, बल्कि वाल्मीकि जी उस हाथ की पूर्व स्थिति का स्मरण कराते हैं। 'परार्ध्यकालागरुचन्दनार्हः' विशेषण यह दर्शाता है कि सीता राजसी सुखों के योग्य हैं, न कि अशोक वाटिका की धूल के। सबसे मार्मिक स्मरण यह है कि यह वही हाथ है जो कभी श्रीराम का तकिया हुआ करता था। यह शारीरिक स्पंदन सीता जी को उनके अतीत के सुखद स्पर्श की याद दिलाता है और मिलन की आशा जगाता है।
