तथागतां तां व्यथितामनिन्दितां व्यपेतहर्षां परिदीनमानसाम् ।
शुभां निमित्तानि शुभानि भेजिरे नरं श्रिया जुष्टमिवोपजीविनः ।

Tathāgatāṃ tāṃ vyathitāmaninditāṃ vyapetaharṣāṃ paridīnamānasām |
śubhāṃ nimittāni śubhāni bhejire naraṃ śriyā juṣṭamivopajīvinaḥ ॥5-29-1॥
Translation
To her, who was in such a state—distressed, blameless, devoid of joy, and deeply dejected—auspicious omens came and served her, just as dependent servants gather around a man blessed with prosperity/wealth.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस अवस्था में पहुँची हुई, व्यथित, निंदारहित, हर्ष से रहित और अत्यंत दीन मन वाली उस शुभ लक्षणा सीता की सेवा में शुभ शकुन उसी प्रकार उपस्थित हो गए, जैसे ऐश्वर्यवान पुरुष की सेवा में सेवक (उपजीवी) उपस्थित होते हैं।
English Commentary
The new Sarga opens with a poetic validation of Sita's status. Though she feels utterly defeated and "devoid of joy," nature treats her like royalty. The omens are personified as servants (upajīvinaḥ) flocking to a wealthy master (naraṃ śriyā juṣṭam). This implies that despite her current misery, she is still the center of power and grace, and good fortune is rushing to attend to her. It sets a hopeful tone for the imminent arrival of Hanuman.
हिंदी टीका
सर्ग 29 का यह प्रथम श्लोक एक सुंदर उपमा के साथ शुरू होता है। सीता जी की स्थिति अत्यंत दयनीय है ('व्यपेतहर्षां' - हर्ष रहित), लेकिन नियति उनके पक्ष में है। शुभ शकुनों का आना वैसा ही बताया गया है जैसे 'श्री' (लक्ष्मी/धन) से युक्त पुरुष के पास सेवक दौड़े चले आते हैं। अर्थात, जैसे धन सेवकों को आकर्षित करता है, वैसे ही सीता का सतीत्व और आगामी सौभाग्य शुभ शकुनों को आकर्षित कर रहा है। यह उनके दुख के अंत का संकेत है।
