तान्यङ्के दर्शनीयानि कृत्वा बहुविधं तव ।
तेन देवप्रकाशेन देवेन परिदेवितम् ।
।
॥५-३५-३९॥
Tānyaṅke darśanīyāni kṛtvā bahuvidhaṃ tava |
tena devaprakāśena devena paridevitam ॥5-35-39॥
Translation
Placing those beautiful ornaments of yours in his lap, that God-like Lord, shining with divine splendor, lamented in various ways.
हिंदी अनुवाद
देवताओं के समान तेजस्वी उन देव (राम) ने आपके उन सुंदर आभूषणों को अपनी गोद में रखकर अनेक प्रकार से विलाप किया।
English Commentary
The imagery here is poignant. Rama places the ornaments in his anke (lap), treating the inanimate objects with the tenderness he would show Sita herself. Despite his grief, he is described as devaprakāśena (shining like a god), maintaining his majesty. His lamentation (paridevitam) over the jewelry reveals the human side of the divine prince. Hanuman narrates this to assure Sita that she is constantly in Rama's thoughts and that he cherishes every trace of her existence.

यह दृश्य अत्यंत करुण है। राम ने उन आभूषणों को जमीन पर नहीं रहने दिया, बल्कि उन्हें 'अङ्के' (गोद में) रख लिया, जैसे वे सीता को ही गोद में ले रहे हों। हनुमान राम को 'देवप्रकाशेन' (देवताओं जैसी कांति वाले) कहते हैं, जो यह दर्शाता है कि विलाप करते हुए भी उनकी दिव्यता कम नहीं हुई। एक वीर योद्धा का बच्चों की तरह रोना और आभूषणों से बातें करना उनके निश्छल प्रेम का प्रमाण है। हनुमान यह सब सीता को इसलिए बता रहे हैं ताकि उन्हें राम के विरह की गहराई का अनुभव हो सके।
