Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
अयुक्तं तु विना देवीं दृष्टवद्भिश्च वानराः ।
समीपं गन्तुमस्माभी राघवस्य महात्मनः ।
।
॥५-६०-२॥
ayuktaṃ tu vinā devīṃ dṛṣṭavadbhiśca vānarāḥ । samīpaṃ gantumasmābhī rāghavasya mahātmanaḥ । । ॥5-60-2॥
Translation
O Vanaras! Having seen the Divine Lady, it seems improper to me for us to go to the high-souled Raghava without taking her along.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(अंगद कहते हैं) हे वानरों! देवी सीता के दर्शन कर लेने के पश्चात, उन्हें साथ लिए बिना ही महात्मा श्रीराम के पास जाना मुझे अनुचित (अयुक्त) लग रहा है।
English Commentary
Angada proposes a bold deviation from the original mission parameters. While the order was strictly reconnaissance ("find Sita"), Angada feels that returning without her, now that she has been located, implies a lack of capability or valor. He argues that strictly adhering to "look but don't touch" is inappropriate (ayuktam) for warriors of their caliber. This reflects Angada's aggressive stance and his desire to present Rama with the ultimate solution—Sita herself—rather than just news of her.

अंगद के चरित्र में एक युवा योद्धा का उत्साह झलकता है। उन्हें लगता है कि जब पता चल गया है कि सीता कहाँ हैं, और हनुमान अकेले लंका जला आए हैं, तो पूरी वानर सेना मिलकर सीता को अभी क्यों नहीं छुड़ा सकती? उन्हें लगता है कि सीता को वहाँ छोड़कर खाली हाथ लौटना उनकी वीरता पर धब्बा होगा। वे इसे "अयुक्त" (अनुचित) मानते हैं। यह प्रस्ताव उनके आत्मविश्वास को दर्शाता है, भले ही यह श्रीराम की आज्ञा (जो केवल खोजने की थी) का उल्लंघन हो सकता था।
