ददृशुस्तं महावीर्यं महाकायं महाद्युतिम् ।
रावणं निहतं भूमौ नीलाञ्जनचयोपमम् ॥६-११३-६॥
dadṛśustaṃ mahāvīryaṃ mahākāyaṃ mahādyutim |
rāvaṇaṃ nihataṃ bhūmau nīlāñjanacayopamam ॥6-113-6॥
Translation
They beheld the highly valiant, large-bodied, and immensely radiant Ravana lying slain on the ground, resembling a massive heap of black collyrium.

उन्होंने भूमि पर गिरे हुए उस महावीर्यवान, विशालकाय और महातेजस्वी रावण को देखा, जो काजल के ढेर के समान काला और विशाल लग रहा था।
English Commentary
Even in death, Ravana's body bore witness to his former grandeur and size. The comparison to a 'heap of collyrium' reinforces his dark, Tamasic nature and gargantuan physique. The warrior who was deemed invincible now lay in the dust, illustrating the inevitable end of unrighteous power that crumbles due to hubris.

रावण का मृत शरीर भी अपनी विशालता और पूर्व तेज की गवाही दे रहा था। 'नीलाञ्जनचय' (काजल का ढेर) की उपमा उसके तामसिक व्यक्तित्व और उसकी भीमकाय देह को पुष्ट करती है। अजेय माना जाने वाला योद्धा अब धूल में पड़ा था। यह श्लोक अधर्म की उस परिणति को दिखाता है जहाँ महान सामर्थ्य भी अहंकार के कारण मिट्टी में मिल जाता है।
