ततो वानरपत्नीनां सर्वासामेव शोभनम् ।
चकार यत्नात् कौसल्या प्रहृष्टा पुत्रलालसा ॥६-१३१-१८॥
tato vānarapatnīnāṃ sarvāsāmeva śobhanam |
cakāra yatnāt kausalyā prahṛṣṭā putralālasā ॥6-131-18॥
Translation
Then, Kausalya, overjoyed and doting on her son, carefully performed the decoration of all the wives of the monkeys.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनन्तर, पुत्र (श्री राम) के लिए लालायित और प्रसन्न कौसल्या ने यत्नपूर्वक सभी वानर-पत्नियों का सुंदर श्रृंगार किया।
English Commentary
Mata Kausalya extends her maternal care to the wives of the Vanaras. By grooming them 'yatnat' (with effort/care), she acknowledges their role in Shri Rama's victory. It shows that for Kausalya, anyone who helped her son is family. This gesture bridges the gap between the human royalty of Ayodhya and the forest dwellers.

कौसल्या जी की विशाल हृदयता देखिये। वे केवल सीता का ही नहीं, बल्कि वानर-पत्नियों (जैसे तारा, रुमा) का भी श्रृंगार करती हैं। वे जानती हैं कि इन्हीं वानरों की सहायता से उनका पुत्र लौटा है। 'पुत्रलालसा' (पुत्र प्रेम में मग्न) कौसल्या श्री राम के मित्रों के परिवारों को अपना मानती हैं। यह कृतज्ञता और समावेशिता का सुंदर उदाहरण है।
