नवनागसहस्राणि ययुरास्थाय वानराः ।
मानुषं विग्रहं कृत्वा सर्वाभरणभूषिताः ॥६-१३१-३२॥
navanāgasahasrāṇi yayurāsthāya vānarāḥ |
mānuṣaṃ vigrahaṃ kṛtvā sarvābharaṇabhūṣitāḥ ॥6-131-32॥
Translation
Nine thousand monkeys, having assumed human forms and adorned with all ornaments, went along riding on elephants.
हिंदी अनुवाद
नौ हजार अन्य वानर मनुष्य का रूप धारण करके और सभी आभूषणों से सजकर हाथियों पर सवार होकर चले।
English Commentary
The Vanara army assumes human form ('manusham vigraham') for the procession. This magical transformation allows them to integrate seamlessly into the human celebration. Riding 9,000 elephants shows the massive scale of the procession and the high honor accorded to Shri Rama's army.

वानर सेना ने अयोध्या प्रवेश के लिए 'मानुषं विग्रहं' (मनुष्य रूप) धारण किया। यह शिष्टाचार और नागरिकों को भयमुक्त करने के लिए था। वे हाथियों पर सवार हैं, जो बताता है कि श्री राम ने उन्हें सैनिकों नहीं, बल्कि सम्मानित अतिथियों का दर्जा दिया है।
