शङ्खशब्दप्रणादैश्च दुन्दुभीनां च निःस्वनैः ।
प्रययौ पुरुषव्याघ्रस्तां पुरीं हर्म्यमालिनीम् ॥६-१३१-३३॥
śaṅkhaśabdapraṇādaiśca dundubhīnāṃ ca niḥsvanaiḥ |
prayayau puruṣavyāghrastāṃ purīṃ harmyamālinīm ॥6-131-33॥
Translation
With the loud sound of conches and the beating of drums, the tiger among men (Shri Rama) proceeded towards that city adorned with rows of mansions.
हिंदी अनुवाद
शंखों की ध्वनि और नगाड़ों (दुन्दुभी) की आवाज के साथ पुरुषव्याघ्र (श्री राम) ने उस हवेलियों की माला वाली (सुंदर महलों वाली) नगरी की ओर प्रस्थान किया।
English Commentary
The soundscape is martial and festive—conches and drums. Shri Rama, the 'Purushavyaghra' (Tiger among men), approaches Ayodhya, which is described as 'harmya-malinim' (garlanded with mansions/palaces), highlighting its urban splendor.

विजय घोष के साथ श्री राम अयोध्या में प्रवेश करते हैं। 'हर्म्यमालिनीम्' (भवनों की माला पहने हुए) विशेषण अयोध्या के वैभव को दर्शाता है। शंख और दुन्दुभी मंगल और विजय के वाद्य हैं।
