ततो ह्यभ्युच्छ्रयन् पौराः पताकास्ते गृहे गृहे ।
ऐक्ष्वाकाध्युषितं रम्यमाससाद पितुर्गृहम् ॥६-१३१-४२॥
tato hyabhyucchrayan paurāḥ patākāste gṛhe gṛhe |
aikṣvākādhyuṣitaṃ ramyamāsasāda piturgṛham ॥6-131-42॥
Translation
Then the citizens raised flags on every house. Shri Rama reached the beautiful house of his father, inhabited by the Ikshvakus.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनन्तर, नागरिकों ने घर-घर में पताकाएं (झंडे) फहराईं। तब श्री राम ने इक्ष्वाकु वंशियों द्वारा सेवित, अपने पिता के रमणीय भवन (महल) में प्रवेश किया।
English Commentary
The city is decorated with flags ('pataka') on every house. Shri Rama arrives at the ancestral palace ('pitur-griham'). Returning to his father's house symbolizes the restoration of his birthright and the continuity of the lineage.
हिंदी टीका
नगर में उत्सव मनाया गया। हर घर पर झंडा फहराया गया। श्री राम अपने पिता दशरथ के महल ('पितुर्गृहम्') पहुँचे। यह वही महल है जहाँ से उन्हें 14 वर्ष पहले निकाला गया था। आज वहां उनकी राजसी वापसी हुई है।
