अभ्यषिञ्चन्नरव्याघ्रं प्रसन्नेन सुगन्धिना ।
सलिलेन सहस्राक्षं वसवो वासवं यथा ॥६-१३१-६१॥
abhyaṣiñcannaravyāghraṃ prasannena sugandhinā |
salilena sahasrākṣaṃ vasavo vāsavaṃ yathā ॥6-131-61॥
Translation
...consecrated (sprinkled/bathed) the tiger among men (Shri Rama) with clear and fragrant water, just as the Vasus consecrated the thousand-eyed Indra.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...इन्होंने नरव्याघ्र (श्री राम) का प्रसन्न (स्वच्छ) और सुगंधित जल से वैसे ही अभिषेक किया, जैसे आठ वसुओं ने सहस्राक्ष (इन्द्र) का किया था।
English Commentary
The act of 'Abhisheka' (sprinkling/bathing). The water is fragrant ('sugandhina'). The comparison connects Shri Rama's earthly rule to the divine rule of Indra, reinforced by the 8 sages mirroring the 8 Vasus.

अभिषेक क्रिया संपन्न हुई। ऋषियों ने श्री राम पर पवित्र जल छिड़का। उपमा: जैसे वसुओं ने इन्द्र का अभिषेक किया था। श्री राम पृथ्वी के इन्द्र हैं। जल 'सुगन्धिना' (सुगंधित) है, जो वातावरण की पवित्रता बढ़ाता है।
