ददौ शतं वृषान् पूर्वं द्विजेभ्यो मनुजर्षभः ।
त्रिंशत्कोटीहिरण्यस्य ब्राह्मणेभ्यो ददौ पुनः ॥६-१३१-७४॥
dadau śataṃ vṛṣān pūrvaṃ dvijebhyo manujarṣabhaḥ |
triṃśatkoṭī hiraṇyasya brāhmaṇebhyo dadau punaḥ ॥6-131-74॥
Translation
The foremost of men, Shri Rama, first gave a hundred bulls to the Brahmanas, and then presented them with thirty crores of gold coins.

पुरुषों में श्रेष्ठ श्री राम ने पहले ब्राह्मणों को सौ बैल दिए, फिर उन्हें तीस करोड़ स्वर्ण मुद्राएँ प्रदान कीं।
English Commentary
The gift of bulls provided essential support to an agrarian economy. Donating 'thirty crores' of gold coins symbolizes the proper utilization of wealth and the treasury being open to the people. Giving to Brahmanas was an act of honoring the guardians of knowledge and wisdom, strengthening the intellectual leadership of society.

बैलों का दान कृषि प्रधान अर्थव्यवस्था में आधारभूत सहायता थी। 'त्रिंशत्-कोटि' (तीस करोड़) स्वर्ण मुद्राओं का दान लंका से प्राप्त धन के सदुपयोग और राज्य के खजाने के प्रजा के प्रति खुला होने का प्रतीक है। ब्राह्मणों को दान देना ज्ञान और विद्या के संरक्षकों को सम्मान देना था, जो समाज के बौद्धिक नेतृत्व को सुदृढ़ करता था।
