वालिपुत्राय धृतिमानङ्गदायाङ्गदे ददौ ।
मणिप्रवरजुष्टं च मुक्ताहारमनुत्तमम् ॥६-१३१-७७॥
vāliputrāya dhṛtimān aṅgadāyāṅgade dadau |
maṇipravarajuṣṭaṃ ca muktāhāramanuttamam ॥6-131-77॥
Translation
The resolute Shri Rama gave two armlets (Angadas) to Angada, the son of Vali, and an incomparable pearl necklace adorned with excellent gems.

धैर्यवान श्री राम ने बालीपुत्र अंगद को दो बाजूबंद (अंगद) दिए और श्रेष्ठ मणियों से युक्त एक अनुपम मुक्ताहार प्रदान किया।
English Commentary
Giving 'Angadas' (armlets) to Angada is a tribute to his name and his heroic persona. Shri Rama granted Angada the affection he would have received from his father, Vali. The jeweled pearl necklace signifies the excellence he proved through his indomitable courage in the battle of Lanka.

अंगद को 'अंगद' (बाजूबंद) देना उनके नाम की सार्थकता और उनके वीर स्वरूप का सम्मान है। श्री राम ने अंगद को वह स्नेह दिया जो उन्हें उनके पिता बाली से मिलना चाहिए था। मणियों वाला मुक्ताहार उनकी उस श्रेष्ठता को दर्शाता है जो उन्होंने लंका के युद्ध में अपने अदम्य साहस से सिद्ध की थी।
