हनुमांस्तेन हारेण शुशुभे वानरर्षभः ।
चन्द्रांशुचयगौरेण श्वेताभ्रेण यथाचलः ॥६-१३१-८३॥
hanumāṃstena hāreṇa śuśubhe vānararṣabhaḥ |
candrāṃśucayagaureṇa śvetābhreṇa yathācalaḥ ॥6-131-83॥
Translation
Wearing that necklace, which was as white as a cluster of moonbeams, Hanuman, the foremost of monkeys, shone like a mountain surrounded by white clouds.

उस चंद्रमा की किरणों के समान श्वेत हार को पहनकर वानर श्रेष्ठ हनुमान वैसे ही सुशोभित हुए, जैसे सफेद बादलों से घिरा हुआ कोई पर्वत।
English Commentary
Hanuman's massive form is compared to an 'Acala' (mountain) and the necklace to 'Shveta Abhra' (white clouds). This analogy depicts the balance between His sattvic nature and His warrior strength. After donning the necklace, His radiance increased, testifying to His status as the foremost of devotees.

हनुमान जी के विशाल शरीर की तुलना 'अचल' (पर्वत) से और हार की तुलना 'श्वेत अभ्र' (सफेद बादल) से की गई है। यह उपमा उनके सात्विक और वीर स्वरूप के संतुलन को दर्शाती है। हार पहनने के बाद हनुमान जी के तेज में और भी वृद्धि हो गई, जो उनके भक्त-शिरोमणि होने का प्रमाण है।
