Srimad Valmiki Ramayana - Yuddha Kanda - Sarga 18

तेन च इमम् महाप्राज्ञम् अभिषिन्च विभीषणम् ।
राजानम् रक्षसाम् क्षिप्रम् प्रसन्ने मयि मानद ॥६-१८-२५॥

arcitaśca yathānyāyaṃ svaiśca māṃsairnimantritaḥ । sa hi taṃ pratijagrāha bhāryāhartāramāgatam ॥6-18-25॥

Translation

'He honored him according to rule and invited him with his own flesh. He indeed accepted him (the hunter) who had come, (even though he was) the abductor/killer of his wife.'

हिंदी अनुवाद

'उस (कबूतर) ने न्यायपूर्वक उसकी (शिकारी की) पूजा की और अपने मांस से उसे निमंत्रित (भोजन दिया) किया। उसने अपनी पत्नी का अपहरण करने वाले (शिकारी) को भी (शरण में) स्वीकार किया था।'
