उदीक्षमाणा गगनं केचिन्नेत्रेषु ताडिताः ।
शरैर्विविशुरन्योन्यं पेतुश्च जगतीतले ॥६-७३-६१॥
udīkṣamāṇā gaganaṃ kecinnetreṣu tāḍitāḥ |
śarairviviśuranyonyaṃ petuśca jagatītale ॥6-73-61॥
Translation
Looking up at the sky, some were struck in the eyes. Pierced by arrows, they ran into each other and fell on the ground.
हिंदी अनुवाद
आकाश की ओर देखते हुए कुछ वानर आँखों में बाण लगने से (अंधे होकर) एक-दूसरे में घुस गए और पृथ्वी पर गिर पड़े।
English Commentary
Blinding strikes. Looking for the invisible enemy results in blinding, increasing the terror.

शत्रु को खोजने का दंड। जो ऊपर देख रहे थे, उनकी आँखों में तीर लगे। यह अत्यंत क्रूर और सटीक निशाना था।
