अभिजघ्नुः समासाद्य समन्तात् पर्वतोपमम् ।
तेषामपि च सङ्क्रुद्धश्चकार कदनं महत् ॥ ६.८६.२४ ॥स ददर्श कपिश्रेष्ठमचलोपममिन्द्रजित् ।
सूदयन्तमभित्रघ्नममित्रान् पवनात्मजम् ॥६-८६-२४॥
abhijaghnuḥ samāsādya samantāt parvatopamam |
teṣāmapi ca saṅkruddhaścakāra kadanaṃ mahat |

sa dadarśa kapiśreṣṭhamacalopamamindrajit |
sūdayantamabhitraghnamamitrān pavanātmajam ॥6-86-24॥
Translation
...approaching, struck that mountain-like (Hanuman) from all sides. Enraged, he too caused great slaughter among them. Indrajit saw the best of monkeys, the son of the Wind, resembling a mountain, destroying the enemies.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...पास जाकर सब ओर से उस पर्वत-समान (हनुमान) पर प्रहार किया। अत्यंत क्रोधित होकर उन्होंने (हनुमान ने) भी उनका महान संहार किया। इन्द्रजीत ने शत्रुओं का नाश करने वाले, पर्वत के समान वानरश्रेष्ठ पवनपुत्र को (राक्षसों का) संहार करते हुए देखा।
English Commentary
Hanuman is handling thousands alone. Indrajit noticed Hanuman destroying his army.

हनुमान जी अकेले ही हजारों से निपट रहे हैं। इन्द्रजीत ने देखा कि हनुमान जी उसकी सेना को नष्ट कर रहे हैं।
