Sri Harikrishnadas Goenka
Sri Anandgiri
Thus, being comforted by the Lord, Arjuna replied to Him – the (commentator) states this with 'Arjuna iti' (Arjuna said).
Sri Dhanpati
Arjuna spoke, having seen his desired form. O Janārdana (Destroyer of evil-doers), seeing this immediate, human (fit for humans), man-formed, my friend, gentle, pleasing form of yours, now I have become sacetāḥ (conscious/alert), joyful-minded, and have attained (gone to) prakṛti (my natural state).
By addressing Him as Janārdana (One who pains/destroys evil beings), he suggests that the fear generated by the vision of that (Universal Form) is now removed by the vision of the gentle form.
Sri Neelkanth
Then, having become fearless, Arjuna spoke -- 'Dṛṣṭvā' (Having seen) etc.
'Sacetāḥ' means undisturbed (calm-minded).
'Prakṛtiṃ gataḥ' means attained soundness (normal state).
'Saṃvṛtto' means I have become.
Sri Ramanuja
Arjuna said -- Seeing this form of yours, which is endowed with endless and surpassing beauty, tenderness, grace etc., which is Your own extraordinary form, situated in the human structure, and is extremely gentle, I have become sacetāḥ (conscious/alert-minded) and have attained my natural state (prakṛti).
Sri Sridhara Swami
Then, having become fearless, Arjuna spoke -- 'Dṛṣṭvā' (Having seen) etc.
'Sacetāḥ' (Conscious/calm-minded), joyful-minded, now I have become (saṃvṛttaḥ), I am born (jāto'smi). And I have attained prakṛti (natural state), i.e., soundness.
The rest is clear.
Sri Vedantadeshikacharya Venkatanatha
To remove the misconception that 'mānuṣaṃ rūpam' (human form) refers to a natural form generated by Karma, (Ramanuja) explains that by stating the sense intended by the word 'idam' (this), with 'anavadhikātiśayasaunḍarya' (endless surpassing beauty) etc.
Swami Chinmayananda
Sri Abhinavgupta
'Dṛṣṭvā' (Having seen) etc. After the withdrawal of all (forms), (He) grants the state of Brahman-essence which is of the supremely peaceful form – thus is the gentleness of the Lord (stated) in the conclusion (withdrawal).
Sri Madhusudan Saraswati
Then, having become fearless, Arjuna spoke -- 'Dṛṣṭvā' (Having seen) etc.
Now I am sacetāḥ (conscious), i.e., I have become undisturbed in mind due to the absence of delusion caused by fear.
And I have attained prakṛti (natural state), i.e., soundness, due to the absence of distress caused by fear. The rest is clear.
Sri Purushottamji
Having seen the displayed form, Arjuna reports -- 'Dṛṣṭvā' (Having seen) etc.
O Janārdana (Destroyer of ignorance)! Seeing this human (fit to be seen by humans), gentle, pervaded by compassion (compassionate) form of yours, which is visible in front, now I have become sacetāḥ (conscious), alert-minded.
And I have attained prakṛti, i.e., the form of devotion.
Sri Shankaracharya
O Janārdana! Seeing this human (fit for humans), my friend, pleasing, gentle form of yours, now, at this moment, I have become (saṃvṛttaḥ), I am born (saṃjātaḥ). What? I have become sacetāḥ (conscious), joyful-minded, and have attained prakṛti (my natural state).
The Blessed Lord said --
Sri Vallabhacharya
Then, being situated in his proper state (calm), Arjuna spoke -- 'Dṛṣṭvedam' (Seeing this) etc.
Seeing this gentle, human (fit for humans), form situated in the human structure, which is endowed with endless and surpassing beauty, tenderness, grace, virtuous conduct etc., and whose hands, feet, face, belly etc. are of the nature of pure eternal bliss, I have become sacetāḥ (conscious).
At that time (in the Universal Form), I was indeed vicetāḥ (unconscious) and amanāḥ (mindless), because of the scriptural statements: 'It is without hands and feet, formless, imperishable.'
But now I have attained prakṛti (my natural state).
Swami Sivananda
दृष्ट्वा having seen? इदम् this? मानुषम् human? रूपम् form? तव Thy? सौम्यम् gentle? जनार्दन O Krishna? इदानीम् now? अस्मि (I) am? संवृत्तः composed? सचेताः with mind? प्रकृतिम् to nature? गतः restored.Commentary Arjuna says to Lord Krishna O Lord? I now behold Thy human form. Now my thoughts are collected and I am serene. I can speak. My senses perform their proper functions. My fear has vanished. Thou hast treated me as a mother would treat her erring child whom she embraces and nurses. Just as the calf rejoices when it beholds its mother who was missing for some days? so also I rejoice now when I behold Thy gentle form. I have drunk the nectar. Now I am alive.
Swami Gambirananda

Swami Adidevananda
Arjuna said Having beheld this pleasing and unie form of Yours, human in configuration, endowed with grace, tenderness, beauty etc., the excellence of which is infinite, I have now become composed, and I am restored to my normal nature.
