राजन्संस्मृत्य संस्मृत्य संवादमिममद्भुतम्।
केशवार्जुनयोः पुण्यं हृष्यामि च मुहुर्मुहुः।।18.76।।
rājansaṃsmṛtya saṃsmṛtya saṃvādamimamadbhutam|
keśavārjunayoḥ puṇyaṃ hṛṣyāmi ca muhurmuhuḥ||18.76||
Translation
O King, remembering this wonderful and holy dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna, I rejoice again and again.

हे राजन् ! भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुनके इस पवित्र और अद्भुत संवादको याद कर-करके मैं बार-बार हर्षित हो रहा हूँ।

Swami Ramsukhdas
राजन्संस्मृत्य ৷৷. मुहुर्मुहुः -- सञ्जय कहते हैं कि हे महाराज भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुनका यह बहुत अलौकिक? विलक्षण संवाद हुआ है। इसमें कितना रहस्य भरा हुआ है कि घोरसेघोर युद्धरूप क्रिया करते हुए भी ऊँचीसेऊँची पारमार्थिक सिद्धि हो सकती है मनुष्यमात्र हरेक परिस्थितिमें अपना उद्धार कर सकता है। इस प्रकारके संवादको याद करकरके मैं बड़ा हर्षित हो रहा हूँ? प्रसन्न हो रहा हूँ।श्रीभगवान् और अर्जुनके इस अद्भुत संवादकी महिमा भी बहुत विलक्षण है। भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुन सदा साथमें रहनेपर भी इन दोनोंका ऐसा संवाद कभी नहीं हुआ। युद्धके समय अर्जुन घबरा गये क्योंकि एक तरफ तो उनको कुटुम्बका मोह तंग कर रहा था और दूसरी तरफ वे क्षात्रधर्मकी दृष्टिसे युद्ध करना अवश्य कर्तव्य समझते थे। मनुष्यकी जब किसी एक सिद्धान्तपर? एक मतपर स्थिति नहीं होती? तब उसकी व्याकुलता बड़ी विचित्र होती है (टिप्पणी प0 1000)। अर्जुन भीयुद्ध करना श्रेष्ठ है या युद्ध न करना श्रेष्ठ है -- इन दोनोंमेंसे एक निश्चित निर्णय नहीं कर सके। इसी व्याकुलताके कारण अर्जुन भगवान्की तरफ खिंच गये? उनके सम्मुख हो गये। सम्मुख होनेसे भगवान्की कृपा उनको विशेषतासे प्राप्त हुई। अर्जुनकी अनन्य भावना? उत्कण्ठाके कारण भगवान् योगमें स्थित हो गये अर्थात् ऐश्वर्य आदिमें स्थित न रहकर केवल अपने प्रेमतत्त्वमें सराबोर हो गये और उसी स्थितिमें अर्जुनको समझाया। इस प्रकार उत्कट अभिलषासम्पन्न अर्जुन और अलौकिक अटलयोगमें स्थित भगवान्के संवादका क्या महिमा कहें उसकी महिमाको कहनेमें कोई भी समर्थ नहीं है।

हे राजन् धृतराष्ट्र केशव और अर्जुनके इस ( परम ) पवित्र -- सुननेमात्रसे पापोंका नाश करनेवाले? अद्भुत संवादको सुनकर और बारम्बार स्मरण करके? मैं प्रतिक्षण बारम्बार हर्षित हो रहा हूँ।

Having heard the aforementioned dialogue of the Lord, are you indifferent? Answering "No," he addresses him as "O King" (Rajan).
He establishes its merit (punyatvam) by saying "even by listening" (shravanat api), implying it sanctifies the listener.

Moreover, having heard this wonderful and holy dialogue between Keshava (Krishna) and Arjuna, which destroys sins merely by listening, and "remembering it again and again" (samsmritya samsmritya)—recalling it repeatedly—I rejoice (hrishyami) at every moment, becoming thrilled with horripilation or attaining great joy.
By addressing Dhritarashtra as "O King" (Rajan), Sanjaya instructs him: "You too, having heard their dialogue, should abandon enmity, accept devotion to Krishna with great respect, and becoming extremely radiant and joyful, become a true King."

Sanjaya expresses the joy born from hearing the dialogue between Keshava and Arjuna and from the vision of the Yoga (the Cosmic Form) sequentially in two verses, beginning with "O King."
"O King" refers to Dhritarashtra.
"Holy" (punyam) means that which generates merit and destroys sin.
The repetition in "having remembered again and again" (samsmritya samsmritya) indicates excitement or intensity of emotion (sambhrama).
The rest of the meaning is clear.

Having remembered this holy and wonderful dialogue between Keshava and Arjuna, which I heard directly (sakshat), I rejoice again and again.

"I rejoice" (hrishyami) means I become thrilled with horripilation (goosebumps) or I attain great joy.
The rest is clear.
Sri Vedantadeshikacharya Venkatanatha
Through the two verses beginning with "O King," he describes the extremely wonderful nature of this dialogue.
"Holy" (punyam) implies that merely by listening, it is purifying, similar to the sacrifice of knowledge (jnana-yajna).
"Wonderful" (adbhutam) means it is astonishing in terms of both its words and its meaning.

ईश्वरीय काव्य गीता को श्रवण करके संजय इस श्लोक में अपनी स्पष्ट प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त करते हुए कहता है कि भगवान् केशव और मानव अर्जुन सम्पूर्ण एवं अपूर्ण? उच्च एवं निम्न के मध्य यह संवाद अद्भुत और पुण्यपवित्र है।संजय द्वारा श्रवण किया गया गीता का ज्ञान इतना गम्भीर और आकर्षक रूप से बोधगम्य था कि वह उसे पुन पुन स्मरण करके अपने हृदय में बारम्बार हर्षित हो रहा था।गीता जीवन जीने की कला को बताने वाली सूचनाओं की निर्देशिका है अत? यहाँ भी महर्षि व्यास जी अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से हमें साधनमार्ग का संकेत करते हैं। संस्मृत्य (स्मरण करके) शब्द के द्वारा वे यह दर्शाते हैं कि साधक को श्रवण करने के पश्चात्? बारम्बार मनन? अर्थात् प्राप्त ज्ञान पर चिन्तन करना चाहिए। सम्यक् ज्ञान का फल हर्ष होगा।गर्भ से शवागर्त तक की निरर्थक जीवन यात्रा में? जब मनुष्य कोई निश्चित दिव्य लक्ष्य देख लेता है? तब वह प्रसन्न हो जाता है। गीता का अध्ययन न केवल हमारे दैनिक जीवन को ही अर्थवन्त बना देता है? वरन् सम्पूर्ण जगत् को एक सुनिश्चित आशा और आनन्द का सन्देश भी देता है। गीता हमें जीवन की अन्धेरी गलियों से उठाकर? अपने आन्तरिक साम्राज्य के राजसिंहासन पर प्रतिष्ठित कर देती है। वह मनुष्य को अपनी आन्तरिक परिस्थितियों का सम्राट बना देती है। अज्ञान की दशा में मनुष्य के जीवन का अर्थ केवल वस्तुओं और प्राणियों के आविर्भाव और तिरोभाव रूपी मृत्यु का विक्षिप्त नृत्य ही होता है परन्तु गीताज्ञान से शिक्षित पुरुष उसी दिन प्रतिदिन के सामान्य जीवन में एक लय को पहचानता है? सुन्दरता का अवलोकन करता है और मधुर संगीत का श्रवण करता है।विश्वरूप दर्शन का स्मरण करते हुए संजय कहता है
Sri Abhinavgupta
From "Thus I" (ityaham) up to "is my opinion" (matirmama). Concluding the dialogue through the words of Sanjaya, it is stated that due to the continuity created by a constant stream of deep contemplation on the meaning of this text, the mere remembrance of it—which in the end assumes the form of a very clear, non-conceptual (nirvikalpa) experience—bestows the Supreme Brahman.
Thus, merely by remembering the dialogue between the Lord and Arjuna, through the attainment (or pervasion) of the Truth, "fortune, victory, and prosperity" are achieved. May there be Auspiciousness (Shivam).
Here is the summary verse:
Having shattered the intellect which is sluggish due to ignorance and delusion and differentiated by qualities like Sattva; and having attained Vishnu, who is beyond mental constructs (vikalpa), through the beauty of one's own Self-awakening; whatever is done effortlessly (helatah) while remaining merely in the natural rising functions of the senses—all that becomes auspicious (Shankaram) for him.
[Praise of the Teacher]:
There was Katyayana, equal to Vararuchi, satisfied with blossoming knowledge. Adorning his lineage was the extremely learned Sauchuka of steady intellect.
After him came the Brahmin Shri Bhutiraja. His son was the Mahatma (Abhinavgupta), by whom all these people fallen into darkness were uplifted like the sun.
The bee at his lotus feet, Abhinavgupta, composed this Bhagavadgitarthasangraha at the request of the good Brahmin Lotaka.
Whether this is incorrect or correct, it should not be envied by the learned, for this work is done for the sake of kinsmen (devotees).
I bow to the immaculate Abhinavgupta (who is Shiva), who represents the union of both: the ever-new (Abhinava) Shakti and the Hidden (Gupta) Maheshwara (Lord Shiva).
This Srimad Bhagavadgitarthasangraha is the complete and good work of Abhinavgupta, who attained fame through meditation on the feet of the Three-eyed Lord (Shiva). May there be Auspiciousness.
Sri Madhusudan Saraswati
"O King," etc. "Holy" (punyam) means that which destroys all sins merely by hearing. I have not only heard this wonderful dialogue between Keshava and Arjuna, but "having remembered it again and again" (samsmritya samsmritya)—the repetition here indicates excitement (sambhrama)—I rejoice "again and again" (muhurmuhuh) and attain happiness.
Or, it means "I become thrilled with horripilation at every moment."
Sri Purushottamji
Moreover—'O King,' etc. O King! Having remembered this dialogue between Keshava and Arjuna—which is 'wonderful' (adbhutam), meaning it is devoid of worldly reasoning (laukika-upapatti-rahitam) and is productive of merit—having remembered it with respect again and again, I rejoice (hrishyami) repeatedly, attaining happiness.

Having heard this wonderful and holy (punyam) dialogue between Keshava and Arjuna, which destroys sin even by merely listening to it, and remembering it again and again at every moment, I rejoice repeatedly at every instant.
