सुतीक्ष्णेन उपदिष्टेन गत्वा तेन पथा सुखम् ।
इदम् परम संहृष्टो वाक्यम् लक्ष्मणम् अब्रवीत् ॥ ॥३-११-४६॥
sutīkṣṇena upadiṣṭena gatvā tena pathā sukham । idam parama saṃhṛṣṭo vākyam lakṣmaṇam abravīt ॥ ॥3-11-46॥
Translation
Having traveled happily along the path instructed by Sutikshna, Rama, feeling extremely delighted, spoke these words to Lakshmana.

सुतीक्ष्ण मुनि द्वारा बताए गए उस मार्ग पर सुखपूर्वक चलकर, अत्यंत प्रसन्न होते हुए श्रीराम ने लक्ष्मण से यह वचन कहा।
English Commentary
Rama’s delight ("parama samhrishto") highlights his positive disposition despite the rigors of exile. Traveling on the path shown by the sage brings him peace, likely because he knows he is approaching a sanctuary of knowledge and holiness. The word "sukham" (happily/easily) suggests that the journey was smooth, thanks to the sage's accurate directions. Rama addressing Lakshmana indicates his habit of sharing his joy and observations with his brother, reinforcing their bond. It marks a moment of respite and anticipation before they encounter the spiritual power of Agastya's lineage.
