Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
विविक्तेषु च तीर्थेषु कृत स्नाना द्विजातयः ।
पुष्प उपहारम् कुर्वन्ति कुसुमैः स्वयम् आर्जितैः ॥ ॥३-११-५२॥
vivikteṣu ca tīrtheṣu kṛta snānā dvijātayaḥ । puṣpa upahāram kurvanti kusumaiḥ svayam ārjitaiḥ ॥ ॥3-11-52॥
Translation
Having bathed in the secluded holy waters, the twice-born ones (Brahmins) are offering flower oblations with blossoms gathered by themselves.

एकांत तीर्थों (जलाशयों) में स्नान करके, द्विजगण (ब्राह्मण) स्वयं द्वारा चुने गए फूलों से (देवताओं को) पुष्प-उपहार समर्पित कर रहे हैं।
English Commentary
Rama observes the Brahmins (Dvijatayah) engaged in their daily worship. The emphasis on "Vivikteshu" (secluded/isolated) holy waters highlights the serenity and purity of the environment required for meditation. The phrase "svayam arjitaih" (gathered by themselves) is significant; it underscores the principle that an offering to the divine is most potent when accompanied by personal effort and devotion. Watching these pious activities, Rama recognizes the spiritual discipline of Agastya's brother's ashram, marking a peaceful transition from the wild journey to a sanctuary of peace.
