संपूर्णौ निशितैः बाणैः ज्वलद्भिः इव पावकैः ।
महा रजत कोशो अयम् असिः हेमविभूषितः ॥ ॥३-१२-३४॥
Sampūrṇau niśitaiḥ bāṇaiḥ jvaladbhiḥ iva pāvakaiḥ |
Mahā rajata kośo ayam asiḥ hemavibhūṣitaḥ ॥3-12-34॥
Translation
"These (quivers) are filled with sharp arrows that are like blazing fires. And this is a great sword with a scabbard of silver and decorated with gold."

"ये दोनों तरकश तीखे और अग्नि के समान प्रज्वलित बाणों से भरे हुए हैं। और यह महान तलवार (असि) है जिसका म्यान (कोश) चाँदी का है और मुठिया सोने से विभूषित है।"
English Commentary
The arrows within the inexhaustible quivers are described as flaming fires, emphasizing their destructive potency. Additionally, a sword ('Asi') is presented, described as having a 'Maharajata kosho' (great silver scabbard) and gold decorations. This completes the warrior's arsenal: a bow for long-range engagement, infinite ammo for sustained combat, and a sword for close-quarters defense. The specific mention of precious metals (gold, silver) underscores the divine and royal nature of these weapons.

तरकश केवल भरे नहीं हैं, बल्कि 'निशितैः बाणैः' (तीक्ष्ण बाणों) से पूर्ण हैं जो 'पावकैः' (अग्नि) के समान हैं। यह बाणों की मारक क्षमता को दर्शाता है। इसके अतिरिक्त एक 'असि' (तलवार) भी दी गई। 'महारजत कोशो' का अर्थ है जिसका म्यान उत्तम चाँदी का बना है और 'हेमविभूषितः' का अर्थ है उस पर सोने की नक्काशी है। धनुष (दूर युद्ध), अक्षय बाण (निरंतर युद्ध) और तलवार (निकट युद्ध) - इस प्रकार अगस्त्य मुनि ने राम को युद्ध के हर आयाम के लिए सुसज्जित कर दिया।
