सुसंहृष्टः परिष्वज्य बाहुभ्याम् लक्ष्मणम् तदा ।
अति स्निग्धम् च गाढम् च वचनम् च इदम् अब्रवीत् ॥ ॥३-१५-२७॥
Susaṃhṛṣṭaḥ pariṣvajya bāhubhyām lakṣmaṇam tadā । Ati snigdham ca gāḍham ca vacanam ca idam abravīt ॥ ॥3-15-27॥
Translation
Highly delighted, Rama embraced Lakshmana with both arms and spoke these extremely affectionate and deep words.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अत्यंत प्रसन्न होकर (राम ने) लक्ष्मण को दोनों भुजाओं से गले लगा लिया और बहुत ही स्नेहपूर्ण तथा गंभीर (गाढ़) वचन कहे।
English Commentary
Rama’s gratitude transcends verbal praise and manifests in a warm physical gesture. 'Susaṃhṛṣṭaḥ' (overjoyed), he embraces Lakshmana with both arms. For a devotee or a younger brother, an embrace from the Lord/Elder Brother is the ultimate reward, surpassing any material gift. The description of his speech as 'Ati snigdham' (extremely affectionate) and 'Gāḍham' (deep/profound) sets the stage for the significant statement he is about to make. This moment signifies the dissolution of the formal barrier between King and subject, replaced by the pure love of brothers.

राम की प्रसन्नता केवल मन तक सीमित नहीं रही, वह शारीरिक स्नेह के रूप में प्रकट हुई। 'सुसंहृष्टः' (अत्यंत हर्षित) होकर उन्होंने मर्यादा की औपचारिकता छोड़ी और छोटे भाई को 'बाहुभ्याम् परिष्वज्य' (दोनों भुजाओं से कसकर गले) लगा लिया। यह आलिंगन लक्ष्मण के लिए किसी भी पुरस्कार से बड़ा था। राम के वचन 'अति स्निग्धम्' (अत्यंत प्रेमयुक्त) और 'गाढम्' (गहरे अर्थ वाले) थे। यह दृश्य राम और लक्ष्मण के बीच के अटूट प्रेम का प्रतीक है, जहाँ बड़ा भाई छोटे भाई की सेवा से गदगद होकर उसे हृदय से लगा लेता है।
